There are many harmonic patterns in the trading theory. Somtimes they are usefull, somtimes not. It's up to you. We usually using a price action but harmonic patterns accompany us in some trades. Formations can seem complicated for beginners. Actually they are. But practic make you better and more professional. All of us took his first steps in the Forex.
